How can a school or district shift to a learner-centered approach and still meet standardized testing expectations?

A learner-centered approach does not mean you no longer teach core skills like reading and math. In fact, a learner-centered approach goes well beyond the assessment into deeper learning and application. The assessment becomes much easier for the learner as the learning becomes deeper and more meaningful.
