Course Modules
Modules will include videos, lessons, reflection activities, checks for understanding, additional resources and a performance task to apply what you learn.
Module 1:Introduction
Describe what inclusive & equitable learning is, why it is important, and how to cultivate a sense of belonging to create more inclusive & equitable learning environments.
Module 2:Honor learner cultures
Practice culturally responsive teaching to center learners’ cultural diversity as an asset.
Module 3:Address systemic inequities
Audit your policies and routines and revise them to address systemic inequities.
Module 4:Curate inclusive curriculum intentionally
Audit your curriculum & instructional resources and revise as needed to make more inclusive.
Module 5:Reflection
Reflect on practices.

I audit my curriculum and instructional resources to ensure they represent diverse voices, stories, and perspectives, particularly from marginalized identities.
Address systemic inequities
I co-design a learning community with equitable policies, rituals, and routines (ie, homework policy, late work policy, summer reading choices, materials for projects, etc), addressing the historical marginalization of youth due to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, learning differences and/or behaviors.
