Danielle is an experienced instructional coach and former middle school teacher at Escondido Union School District. She is passionate about the power of collaboration to support educators in solving the most critical issues in student learning. She loves to nerd out about competency-based learning, effective instruction, systems thinking, and leadership development.
Since 2022, Danielle has been a member of her district’s collaborative Design Team, ideating with various district and community stakeholders to create a learner profile and instructional model that puts students at the center of the learning environment.
She is currently serving as an MTSS Specialist supporting Hidden Valley Middle School—an innovative school site launching a PBL micro-school. She is excited about helping her school site live out Community School values of being: assets-driven, racially just and restorative, culturally responsive in pedagogy, and sharing leadership through collaboration.
