Course Modules
Modules will include videos, lessons, reflection activities, checks for understanding, additional resources and a performance task to apply what you learn.
Module 1:Introduction
Answer what is authentic learning, why it is important and how real-world learning experiences are more authentic?
Module 2:Tackle real-world problems
Design a project-based learning or design thinking experience that specifically works on critical thinking, creativity or collaborative problem-solving and is related to a local or global issue.
Module 3:Co-design interdisciplinary projects
Design a project-based learning or design thinking experience that incorporates more than one content area.
Module 4:Embed reflection
Re-design a learning experience to incorporate more student reflection.
Module 5:Reflection
Reflect on practices.
Course Competencies
Tackle real-world problems
I codesign learning experiences in which learners solve authentic local and global issues while building content-based knowledge and skills such as critical thinking, creativity and collaborative problem-solving.
Co-design Interdisciplinary projects
I co-design collaborative, cross-curricular projects with learners, to develop content area knowledge and skills that apply beyond school.

I embed reflection opportunities throughout the learning experience to support the learning process.
