Carissa Solomon is a dynamic educator with fifteen years of experience in public, charter, and private schools. She is dedicated to a learner-centered approach, working to empower learners’ agency, foster their growth mindset, and build community connections through rigorous, relevant, and collaborative learning experiences.
Carissa is the Senior Lead Educator at Embark Education, an innovative middle school in Denver, CO. In this role, she is pivotal in advancing new ideas and designing and implementing groundbreaking learner-centered practices.
Beyond the classroom, Carissa finds joy in reading, practicing yoga, adding avocados to meals, and dancing and singing enthusiastically, if not well.
