As 2024 draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on a year defined by collaboration, growth, and meaningful impact. At Learner-Centered Collaborative, our vision is to create education ecosystems where all learners know who they are, thrive in community, and actively engage in the world as their best selves. Together with our growing network of educators, schools, districts, and organizations, we have made remarkable strides toward learner-centered education and laid a strong foundation for the work ahead.

2024: A Year of Growth and Impact

This year, partnerships have been the driving force behind our work. By collaborating with innovative schools and districts across the country, we have co-designed dynamic and contextual Frameworks for the Future that elevate student voices, create a shared vision, and inspire systemic change.

Through these partnerships, we’ve seen:

Our work has also been informed by research and inspired through practice, helping us better understand what works in learner-centered education and how we can refine our practices to achieve even greater impact.

Looking Ahead: Opportunities and Challenges in 2025

As we prepare to step into 2025, we see incredible opportunities to deepen our work and expand our reach. Building on the momentum of 2024, we are excited to focus on several key priorities in the year ahead:

  • Expanding the Partner Network: We will continue to grow our network of collaborators, bringing together diverse voices and perspectives to co-create innovative solutions for learner-centered education.
  • Launching New Research Projects: Our commitment to understanding and improving learner-centered practices will drive new research initiatives that inform policy, practice, and innovation across the country.
  • Harnessing Emerging Tools and Technology: With technology evolving rapidly, we will explore how tools like Artificial Intelligence can complement human-centered practices to create personalized, equitable, and impactful learning experiences.
  • Scaling Proven Models: Through our partnerships, we will identify and scale approaches that have demonstrated success in creating thriving education ecosystems.

At the heart of these efforts is our unwavering belief in the power of collaboration. Together, we can reimagine education systems to better serve every learner, preparing them to succeed in an ever-changing world.

A Message of Gratitude

As we close this chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you—our partners, supporters, and collaborators—who have made this year so impactful. Your dedication and shared vision inspire us every day.

We are excited to continue this journey with you in 2025, building on the progress we’ve made and tackling the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we can create the learner-centered future our world demands.

Here’s to a new year filled with possibility, progress, and purpose.
