Sarah Schlatter

Sarah Schlatter has spent 19 years in education and 12 years homeschooling her children. She has a BA in Sociology and Masters in Education from Vanguard University. She has taught in a variety of educational settings including public schools, private schools, charter schools, and homeschool co-ops.

In addition to general education, she has spent several years as an inclusion facilitator in special education. Sarah is a popular speaker at conferences and staff trainings on current findings in educational brain research.

Sarah’s family LOVES animals. They have 15 pets, including two adorable baby goats, a hedgehog, dogs, cats, fish, birds, bunnies, and chickens. She and her husband have been married for 22 years and have two boys. When not geeking out on brain research, she and her family love all things outside, traveling, and looking for new adventures.
